The weigh-in event for UFC 288 saw main event and c-main event making weight comfortably and just 1 weight miss, along with one fight being canceled due to weight management issue.

Bantamweight Champion Aljamain Sterling was the second last fighter to take the scales but he came in comfortably at 134 lbs. Henry Cejudo was the first fighter to weigh-in in the morning to come at 135.5 lbs. Belal Muhammad was at 170 lbs while Gilbert Burns was at 171 to make their welterweight co-main official.

The card opener Joseph Holmes missed weight by 3 lbs for his middleweight bout. The fight will go on at catchweight now. Zhalgas Zhumagulov vs Rafael Estevam flyweight bout was canceled after Estevam had issues during weight cut. Diego Lopes, making his UFC debut against Movsar Evloev on a 5-day notice, came in at 146 lbs.
